‘After Glow’ – Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island West Coast. I was camped litterly steps from this scene on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, and had honestly paid very little attention to it. While out for a early morning walk with my camera during what became an increasingly heavy rain shower I decided to head back to camp when I saw this scene slowly emerging, and stopped to do a double take. It had completely transformed from a mundane scene to something truly mesmerizing as the mist filled the background and allowed the seperation of the little island in the foreground. The rain began to ease and beautiful light slowly filtered into the scene illuminating the mist and parts of the little island. Previously a steady wind had added texture on the water with that now completely disappated creating beautiful reflections of the soft mist covered trees in the background. The light intensified slightly to complete the scene you see here and create this new piece of art titled; A F T E R  G L O W ! It all lasted for a few moments and then returned to the scene I had walked past numerous times without a second glance.
