Michael is one of the most visually gifted and kind-hearted men we know!!! After designing an absolutely spectacular new outdoor space for us, he completed the project by gifting us with one of his breath-taking Fine Art photographs (completely weather-proofed, mounted on aluminum, framed with rustic recycled wood). This piece of art, now installed on a fence in our back yard, has become the centre of attention and conversation. Everyone who walks by it, is drawn into its stunning beauty. When it came to our business I wanted something special for our art installation’s. Something that was beautiful to look at and catches the eye, but also subdued so that it wasn’t flashy-in-your-face (my business is a wellness spa and the calming ambience in the centre is very important). Michael showed me how his pieces could work in my space, how they would play off the light and catch someone’s attention. Michael’s keen designer eye for working in space, placing lighter pieces in dark spaces, and bright greens in areas with natural light was really helpful. I never realized how much 3 pieces of artwork could transform our space. We’ve been working with Michael for nearly 3 years now and continue to get compliments on a daily basis. We have even had people walking past our shop, stop mid-stride and come in just because they caught a glimpse of one of his piece’s through our windows. Our business have collected a number of Michael’s art pieces which are displayed in our facilities. They are stunning. My personal favourite is the Old Growth Forest Scene, Ancient Cedars! It is spectacular! Not just the scene but it is framed in a rustic natural wood frame which enhances the print creating a window/ door frame making you feel as if you are about to step into the forest!! When our company moved into our new offices, we began searching for piece of wall art that would compliment the office. Our criteria included the art being complimentary to our logo colours and capture the theme of water. We were reviewing Michael’s portfolio and knew immediately that the photo was perfect. Michael visited our office to take measurements of our wall and advised on the size of the photo and framing. The result is a stunning framed photograph for our office that provides a focal point in our reception area. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Michael Bjorge Fine Art Photography Gallery. The location of the gallery is perfect with lots of great shopping nearby. The gallery has a fantastic variety of fine art aluminium prints to experience. I use the word experience because it really is just that, a spectacular experience! Seeing these images on a screen is one thing, but seeing them in person brings them to a whole other level. Do yourself a favour and go to see them for yourself! On behalf of Critter Care Wildlife Society I would like to thank Michael Bjorge for his incredible and generous donation to our Spring Gala. Michael is an award winning photographer and his Fine Art Print on aluminum “Magical Mist” of a spectacular misty Old Growth forest was absolutely gorgeous. This piece was included in our live auction and I know that the couple with the successful bid were very happy with their acquisition. Without donors such as Michael, we could not do what we do. His donation created quite the “buzz” and brought in much needed funds for us. It was one of the more successful auction items of the evening.
