‘The Illusionist’ – Whistler Fine Art Photography. This was one of the stunning views I awoke to as i crawled out of my Jeep on a crisp fall morning at the tail end of a photography trip through the southern Chilcotins on route back to Whistler. I had pulled in to this riverside camp spot the evening before, during torrential rains and didn’t have much idea of what was around my camping spot. In the morning i had beautiful light coming up the river valley on one side of me, and this scene on the other. I opted to shoot this scene as i felt the current light and mist worked perfected and was softly illuminating the little conifer in the foreground acting as the main character in the scene magically conducting the varying amounts of light and mist.
