‘Lucky Charm’ – Vancouver Island Fine Art Photography. Definitely one of the most beautiful scenes i have witnessed! My daughter and I had explored this area along the West Coast of Vancouver Island during her spring break week and on the previous evening we enjoyed a beautiful sunset which created some nice light in this scene, but I knew it was missing something. The next day we were planning to head home but my daughter pleaded to stay one more day as she was having such a great time on the island. The following morning when we awoke I noticed some dense fog had rolled in and I knew this scene would really come to life in those conditions. We quickly jumped into the car and headed back there. Sure enough it looked beautiful, but to my surprise it got even better with some side light entering the scene and creating the beautiful beams of light you see here! I think this scene has all the making of a perfect piece of art, with unique weathered old growth trees, curving stream, reflections, fog, and beautiful light, WOW, it doesn’t get much better than this!! Im not sure the name of this area, but it is close to Sooke on Vancouver Island. Had it not been for my daughter, we would have never seen this scene in all of its glory! Hence the name Lucky Charm!
An update on this print as of December 2020; Lucky Charm has received the highest award from the Master Photographer International Organization, the Platinum Award!
