‘Quintessence’ Portland Japanese Maple Photograph. One of the finest Japanese Maple specimens I’ve seen and arguably in the world, and I’ve seen and planted a lot with my background in Horticulture and Landscape Design! This shot involved two road trips to Oregon, waiting for just the right light, and stitching multiple shots together to get the whole specimen in frame! By combining multiple images together you are able to create a very high resolution image allowing the photo to blown up too well over a 6′ print, while maintaining all of the sharpness and clarity.
