‘Ascension’ A spectacular winter scene high in the Cascade Mountains. This particular peak is Mt Shuksan, and is one of my favourite peaks in the Cascade range! It can be viewed from many locations in the greater Vancouver lower mainland, just to the east of Mt Baker. I took this shot one evening after a couple night of winter camping and photography in the area.
